Race Details

๐Ÿ’— Freestyle technique. No set track; course will be groomed using appropriate venue equipment.

๐Ÿ’— This will be a mass start race by age group.

    • Bib numbers were seeded based on ranking of Nonstop Nordic 2021 races.

    • For MS & HS races, there will be two rows of skiers for mass start. Lower bib #s get front row. (Exact number cutoff TBD)

๐Ÿ’—No touch "tag" zones.

๐Ÿ’—3 laps each leg of a 1.15km loop

When registering, please choose the appropriate category for all team members: MS, HS, Citizen, or Open.

Possible make-up date of 2/14

T-SHIRTS FOR SALE! If you already pre-ordered a shirt, please pick it up at the registration table. We ordered extra shirts and therefore T-SHIRTS & STICKERS are FOR SALE. T-shirts are $20 and stickers are $1.

MASKS REQUIRED: Everyone on the Pineland Farms premises must wear a mask at all times. This includes the entirety of the race. We suggest a plastic frame insert to give space between your mouth and your mask. If a racer loses their mask while racing, we will have extra masks available to quickly stop and pick one up as they lap- a box of masks will be available with the lap/finish volunteers.

PARKING & SPECTATORS: There are no spectators allowed because of the Governorโ€™s state gathering limits. Parents who are dropping off their skiers can drop off near The Grove, but then either leave until the event is over, purchase a ski pass and ski on other trails, or park in any lot of the Pineland Campus. Thank you for your cooperation so that we can continue to offer events.

BIB PICK UP & RETURN: Each racer will need to go to the registration table and confirm that they do not have any Covid-19 symptoms. They will then receive their race bib. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™ Each racer should also get a heart sticker to place on their mask (or elsewhere). And get a box of conversation hearts! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

After you finish, please deposit bib into the bucket before you leave the finish corral. Registration table will be under the blue tent decorated with ๐Ÿ’™heart bling.

FINDING A TEAMMATE YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW: You can look on the start list for the bib number and name of your teammate. A โ€œFind Your Partnerโ€ sign will be near the start area. We recommend looking there about 15-20 minutes before start to meet your teammate.

GLIDE WAX POLICY: Only the waxes on this list are acceptable for all Nonstop Nordic Race Series races. Approved Waxes List

STADIUM MAP:

โ€œTAGโ€ LINE/ZONE: There will be an inbound lane and an outbound lane. (See map)

๐Ÿ’™When the inbound skier crosses the tag line, the outbound can then cross that line and start.

๐Ÿ’™The outbound skier has a double pole zone

๐Ÿ’™THE INBOUND SKIER NEEDS TO MAKE SURE THE COURSE IS CLEAR BEFORE CROSSING BACK OVER TO STAGING AREA!

RACE COURSE INFORMATION: ๐Ÿ’—RACE COURSE CLOSED THIS WEEK!๐Ÿ’— Course will close 10 minutes prior to each start time. You may warm up and cool down on the lower part of campus loop if you want to ski while race is happening.

The other trails at Pineland Farms are open to those who purchase a trail pass or season pass holders. Parents or others not affiliated with the race may use the trails with the purchase of a trail pass at the Outdoor Center.
